course]
This
is a non-credit course for students who have not fulfilled the college’s
English Language Proficiency requirements. The course consists of an
intensive review of sentence structure, comprehension and grammar. If a
student is assessed with a higher level in English proficiency, he/she may
not be required to take this course, and will be permitted to take ACPE 099
instead.

course]
This
is a non-credit course for students who have not fulfilled the college’s
English Language Proficiency requirements. This course is more advanced than
ACPE 098, and it consists of intensive instruction in reading, academic
writing, speaking and listening, with the objective of preparing students
with the basic language skills required in university level courses.
